The UK's leading veterinary charity, PDSA, wins Vote that Counts Facebook competition
proved we really are a nation of animal lovers by winning our Vote that Counts
charities throughout Britain have been competing to win £50,000 worth of
funding in Vote that Counts. To push the charities even further, we decided to
spur them on with social media and offered a professional video for the charity
that secured the most shares on Facebook.
PDSA blew the competition out the water and scored a phenomenal 1,234 shares. The veterinary charity worked especially hard by posting adorable pet photos on Facebook and encouraged fans to vote. They also ran a Facebook competition where fans who shared their posts got the opportunity to win dog toys.
Danyl Johnson travelled to Wolverhampton to PDSA's
PetAid hospital and interviewed senior veterinary surgeon Paul
Mankellow. Paul talked about the life-saving work PDSA do for poorly
pets around the country.
Well done PDSA!
