People's Postcode Lottery players set to celebrate £2 Million win

Lucky winners in Essex will share a £2 Million windfall Lucky winners in Essex will share a £2 Million windfall

Winners will be celebrating in Essex this week as it has been revealed that the August Postcode Millions has landed in postcode sector CM3 3. Lucky players in the area will share a £2 Million windfall.

Winners will discover just how much of the total prize pot they have secured at a celebration that will be held in the grounds of Crix on London Road on 31st August. Those playing with the full winning postcode, which will be revealed at the event, will walk away with the lion's share of the prize.

Crix on London Road offers the ideal location for winners from across the CM3 3 postcode sector to celebrate. Nicole Allan, Events Manger at People's Postcode Lottery, is looking forward to the event; "We were delighted when local residents Ian and Alison Twinley were able to offer us the gorgeous grounds of their home for all our winners to gather. Crix is the perfect location for us to hold our last Postcode Millions of the summer. I can't wait see the excited faces of all the winners on the day."

Ian Twinley said; "When Nicole approached my wife and I with regards to holding the event at Crix we were only too pleased to oblige. Alison and I get to support a number of charities at Crix and given that players of People's Postcode Lottery support so many great charities across Britain, we are delighted to be part of it."

People's Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Judie McCourt, will also be attending the special party. Judie said; "I am delighted to be heading to Essex to see another community share £2 Million. This is our first trip to Essex for a Postcode Millions event but just last month we were here presenting Annette Khan with her cheque for £10,000 after her postcode scooped the Saturday Street Prize. Annette was delighted with her win so I hope all the lovely winners from Essex are as excited as her. I want to wish all the players good luck for the event and a massive congratulations! I look forward to seeing you all at Crix on London Road on 31st August."

Organisers will reveal more details regarding the party, including the minimum amount won, in the coming days.

It's not just winners who benefit from playing People's Postcode Lottery. To date players have raised over £30.3 Million for good causes and charities throughout Britain, including Missing People, Canal & River Trust and Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, who work across England. Both Maggie's and Missing People have received over £2 Million each and Canal & River Trust have received £200,000 in support from our players. This makes us the world's 3rd largest charity donor.
