Have An Egg-stra Special Easter

05 April 2011

Win a chocolate egg worth £500 with the Woodland Trust Scotland

Children with the Easter Bunny in the woods

Heading outdoors this Easter? Our charity partner the Woodland Trust Scotland has a new website to make it even easier to find a wood near you.

VisitWoods.org.uk lists over 3,000 woods in Scotland that you are free to visit.  Log on and tell them about your visit and you could win one of two egg-squisite edible artworks worth £500 each.

Handcrafted eggs made by Paul Wayne Gregory

The handcrafted eggs, made by award-winning chocolatier Paul Wayne Gregory, have been painted with coloured chocolate.

Anyone who registers on VisitWoods.org.uk and uploads a photograph, wood description or comment between now and 6 May will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one of the eggs.

Uploading photos and comments is really easy. Just go to VisitWoods.org.uk, find the wood you visited and click to add your reviews and images to the blog or photo gallery.

So why don’t you go down to the woods today? Treasure hunts, egg rolling and spotting signs of spring make a fun day out for all the family.
