Minimum £2,000 win for lucky Essex players

Lucky Essex players have won a minimum of £2,000 in August's Postcode Millions draw Lucky Essex players have won a minimum of £2,000 in August's Postcode Millions draw

Last week, it was announced that an Essex postcode sector has won £2 Million in the August Postcode Millions draw. Lucky winners will be excited to hear that the minimum prize is £2,000 per ticket.

A winners' celebration will take place at Crix on London Road, Chelmsford from 11am to 1.30pm on Saturday 31st August. All players within postcode sector CM3 3 will learn exactly how much of the £2 Million prize they have won at the event. Those living in the full winning postcode, to be revealed on the day, will walk away with the lion's share of the £2 Million prize.

People's Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Scott Quinnell, will be one of the presenters at the event and is excited to see the winners' reactions. "The best part of this job is handing out cheques to our lucky players and seeing how they react to the news. I'm really looking forward to the event in Essex and I'm sure the winners are too."

All winners have already been notified and are invited to attend the special event. Refreshments will be provided and there will be musical entertainment from the fabulous string quartet, Aviva Ensemble.

It's not only winners like these who benefit from People's Postcode Lottery. Our players have raised over £30.3 Million for charities and good causes across Britain, including Missing People, Canal & River Trust and Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres. Both Maggie's and Missing People have received over £2 Million each and Canal & River Trust has received £200,000 in support.

Missing People, Canal and River Trust and Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres will all be in attendance at the event as well as National Trust.
