On 14 October, Martin Houghton Brown, Chief Executive of Missing People, wrote to thank our players for their support:
Dear Players of the Postcode Lottery,
I would like to express my huge
gratitude for your fantastic support of the charity Missing People by playing
the People's Postcode Lottery.
Within the last three months you have
raised a staggering £87,324 for Missing People in Scotland. This money will
allow us to continue to support the 11,758 vulnerable adults and children from
Scotland who call our helplines every year.
Thanks to you, we were able
to keep over 7000 Scottish children safe, providing guidance, advice and support
through our Runway Helpline. Without your help, we would not be able to make
this happen.
The difference you make by playing the People's Postcode
Lottery is staggering. Don't forget, every time you play you are enabling us to
save a life of a missing person and offer a lifeline to their heartbroken
families.
Please continue your support so that we can provide a lifeline
to every single caller.
Yours Sincerely,
Martin Houghton
Brown
Chief Executive
