Miss Scotland gets in the picture to launch new charity partnership with the National Galleries
Miss Scotland brought a splash of colour to the launch of our new charity partnership with the National Galleries of Scotland.
Nicola Mimnagh admired masterpieces on show at Edinburgh’s National Galleries and showed off her own artistic skills to help mark the new relationship. She also handed over a cheque for £159,364 - the amount raised by our players for the National Galleries of Scotland to date.
Our new partnership will make art more accessible for people in Scotland by helping to fund new exhibitions and education programmes at:
Edinburgh’s National Galleries
the Dean Gallery
the Modern Art Gallery
the soon to be reopened Portrait Gallery
The National Gallery is just one of many charity partners across Britain which receives regular, unrestricted funding thanks to players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Together we have raised over £11 million for good causes to date!
