If you are a budding snapper or filmmaker with a love of the great outdoors then you could be in luck.
Our charity partner Northumberland Wildlife Trust has
launched its 26th annual amateur photography competition. They are
looking for fresh talent to help capture the natural beauty of their local
area.
The competition is free to enter and open to anyone who can use a camera. There are two categories this year: Best Wildlife Video and Best Wildlife Photograph.
Entrants from across the UK can enter. However, only
photographs and footage filmed in Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle
will be eligible.
There are three age groups:
4-12 years
13-18 years
18+
The winning photographs will feature in the charity’s 40th
anniversary celebrations throughout 2011.
