this fantastic organisation to run programmes for its volunteers, such as teacher
assistant training and courses on first aid and manual people handling.
Mary Madhavi, Founder of YogaMobility, is looking forward to the New Year when these courses will get underway. "We are so happy that our volunteer training will start in January, we're all ready to go! Everyone at YogaMobility is very excited and grateful to players of People's Postcode Lottery for their support".
These training programmes will help to increases volunteers' confidence and abilities when working with over 90 disabled yoga students. It will also equip them with a greater awareness of a range of medical conditions and a better understanding of how these
conditions affect a person's quality of life. Such transferrable skills will also have huge benefits for the volunteers themselves, enhancing their personal and professional development.
