Charity Reception at the Scottish Parliament
Wednesday 3rd February will see the People’s Postcode Lottery host our second Charity Reception at the Scottish Parliament.
The reception will celebrate the achievements of the People’s Postcode Lottery in Scotland and will update MSP’s and other guests on the good work that has resulted from the funds Postcode Lottery players have helped raise - totalling over £4 million to date.
The evening is kindly hosted by Patricia Ferguson MSP and will see speakers from the Postcode Lottery and several of our charities take to the stage. We’re especially excited to have not only four of our charity partners - Missing People (in Scotland), Maggie’s, CHILDREN 1ST and Scottish Wildlife Trust - present on the night but also four projects funded by our fifth and newest charity partner, the People’s Postcode Trust. Kilmarnock Can Cycle, Scottish Native Woods, Fairbridge, Inverleith Sea Scouts, the Factory Skatepark and L.O.S.T will represent all the organisations that have had over £1million raised by Postcode Lottery players.
Watch this space for an update on how the event went on, and once again, thanks to our players for making having raised £4 million to charity possible.
