Scottish Wildlife Trust are running an 'Open Doors Day’ at Loch of the Lowes (Dunkeld), Falls of Clyde (New Lanark) and Montrose Basin on Saturday 17 September 2011.  Entry will be free into the 3 visitor centres.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery regularly support Scottish Wildlife Trust. More than £1.5 million has been awarded to the charity to date. The open doors day will provide players with a fantastic opportunity to see how the funding has been, and continues to be, used.

The open doors day is part of ‘Remember a Charity Week’, aimed at promoting the importance of legacies in Wills. Scottish Wildlife Trust Chief Executive Simon Milne says “The Scottish Wildlife Trust relies on legacies for so much of its work. I hope this promotion will remind people what Scottish wildlife means to them and they will remember the Scottish Wildlife Trust when they sit down to write their Will.
