CHILDREN 1^ST listens, supports and takes action to secure a brighter future for Scotland's vulnerable children and families.

The charity's work is built on over 125 years experience as the RSSPCC (Royal Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). By working together with, and listening to children, young people, their families and communities, and by influencing public policy and opinion, they help to change the lives of vulnerable children and young people for the better.

The children, young people and families CHILDREN 1^ST supports are key partners in all aspects of their work. Their 39 local services and three national services (ParentLine Scotland, Safeguarding in Sport and Scotland's national kinship care service) are all child centred.

The charity is motivated by the desire to make the best possible difference to the lives of Scotland's vulnerable children, young people and their families.
