Christmas Gifts to Support Charities

Christmas is fast approaching, the shops are packed and original presents suddenly seem few and far between.
DVDs, CDs and books all seem a little blasé, so why not give someone a gift that keeps giving this Christmas instead? Many charities sell gifts, festive cards and give supporters the opportunity to purchase presents that are just a little different. Look no further for the most original and fun of last minute Christmas gifts!

5. Do you know an avid bird watcher who could do with a new pair of binoculars? Yorkshire Wildlife Trust have a great deal, selling, Opticron Piccolo 8x21 binoculars, which give super results for a low price. Not to be confused with low quality low priced binoculars with external focusing and poor optics. The Piccolo 8x21 have been upgraded for August with internal focusing, upgraded optics and better housing. Ideal as a starter pair, or a second set to complement your main binoculars. Handling is great with a smooth focuser, rubber grips and fold down eyecups. The wide 7.2 degrees field is crisp with great contrast considering the low price at £19.95. The double hinged body means they can be folded and placed in a shirt pocket. Perfect for the bird enthusiast! Details can be found here: Yorkshire Wildlife Trust - Shop
