How do good causes receive funding?
Postcode Lottery exists to raise funds for charities and good causes across Britain and internationally through its charity lotteries. The proceeds are distributed by 20 independent Postcode Trusts, each supporting specific areas such as health, community, environment, animals and international aid.
Some charities may have previously received support through a different Trust or under an earlier funding structure managed directly by Postcode Lottery. Over time, funding arrangements have been updated to better match each charity with the Trust whose focus most closely aligns with its work.
The total amount shown for each charity includes all funding they have received across these different arrangements.

How much money goes to charity?
A min of 30% of each ticket price goes to supporting charities. Our players have raised millions of pounds for good causes.
