Manchester International Festival and The Biospheric Foundation
The Biospheric Project will create extraordinary food-growing solutions for local communities. Local people will be drawn together to play a direct
role in creating an urban farm. Planting and growing activity will be
supplemented by workshops and group activities on linked themes such as healthy
cooking on a budget and food growing in the home.
The community participants and volunteers will then present the urban farm to a broader local, national and international audience, as part of the international cultural festival, Manchester International Festival 2013.
People's Postcode Lottery manages multiple society lotteries promoted by different charities supporting a range of good causes.
