In 2013, thanks to the fantastic support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery, 200 groups across Scotland will be able to transform their communities by planting native trees, hundreds of ancient Scots pines will be recorded for future protection and iconic Scottish wildlife will be caught on candid camera at Glen Finglas in the Trossachs.
The Woodland Trust Scotland is part of the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity. Our vision is a country rich in native woods and trees enjoyed and valued by everyone.
The Trust owns 80 woods in Scotland covering 8,750 hectares, stretching from Stranraer up to Sutherland. These woods support a wide range of wildlife and attract many thousands of visitors a year.
