Terms And Conditions For iPad 2 Competition



  • The "Win An iPad 2" competition (the "Competition") is open to residents of the UK aged 16 and over.

  • The Competition is not open to employees of People's Postcode Lottery, their family members or anyone else connected to the Competition.

  • Entry into the Competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  • To enter the Competition you must fill out the online entry form. If you have any questions about the Competition, please call us on freephone number 0808-10•9•8•7•6•5.

  • Only one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted.

  • No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.

  • People's Postcode Lottery collects personal information when you enter our competitions. We will use this information to send you marketing information and may contact you to discuss possible subscription to the lottery.  People's Postcode Lottery is committed to protecting all such personal information.   • The Competition closes at 12 noon on 20 June 2012. Entries received after that date and time will not be considered.

  • The winners will be chosen from a random draw of correct entries.

  • One winner will receive an iPad 2. People's Postcode Lottery accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts having been made by People's Postcode Lottery then People's Postcode Lottery may dispose of the prize as it thinks fit without any liability to the winners for having done so.

  • Details of the winner may also be published on the People's Postcode Lottery website.

  • The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

  • People's Postcode Lottery retains the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available.

  • The winner may be required for promotional activity.

  • No purchase necessary.

  • People's Postcode Lottery accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. People's Postcode Lottery further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.

  • People's Postcode Lottery reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of People's Postcode Lottery in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

  • People's Postcode Lottery shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

  • The Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Scots law and the Scottish Courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
