July 28th, 2015
Woodland Trust Scotland's vision is a country rich in woods and trees, enjoyed and valued by everyone. Players of People's Postcode Lottery have supported their work since 2010, having raised an amazing £1,241,552.
Woodland Trust Scotland focuses on three areas to achieve their vision:
Several key projects and achievements supported by players include:
Pupils from All Saints RC School in Barmulloch planted a hedgerow using Community Tree Pack trees. Fiona Campbell, the teacher who organised the planting activity, said, "The trees will be used to provide shelter and protection for the school's community garden. We also hope that when the trees begin to thicken and flourish, the whole urban environment of Barmulloch will be enhanced by the changing colours and forms of the hedge."
Woodland Trust Scotland believes life is better with trees, and it thanks all players for their ongoing support of their work. To find out more, visit www.woodlandtrust.org.uk.
