Surprise For Stoke-On-Trent

Players in postcode sector ST1 6 are set to share a whopping £3 Million prize pot

This weekend, lucky People's Postcode Lottery players in Stoke-on-Trent are set to get an early Christmas present as they unwrap a share of £3 Million. The win comes after their postcode sector, ST1 6, was drawn as the winner of December's Postcode Millions. Check out the Postcode Millions reveal on Facebook Live.

People's Postcode Lottery ambassadors will be surprising some lucky players at their doors on Saturday 16th December, when they will find out exactly how much they've won. Everyone who plays with postcodes in ST1 6 will pick up at least £1,000.

People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Jeff Brazier will be joined by fellow ambassadors Judie McCourt, Matt Johnson and Danyl Johnson on Saturday, when they will go door-to-door handing out cheques to lucky winners.

Jeff said, "I feel a bit like Santa Claus, showing up at winners' doors dressed in red and giving out cheques! I can't wait to put a smile on all those lucky players' faces and make their Christmas. Congratulations and good luck to all our wonderful players in ST1 6."

The amount each player will win depends on how many people play in the postcode sector, how many tickets they each play with, and if they play with the full winning postcode.

People's Postcode Lottery players have supported more than 3,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally. With a minimum of 31% of the ticket price going to charity, players have raised over £255 Million for good causes to date.

A number of local projects around Stoke-on-Trent have received support from players of People's Postcode Lottery, including Leek Gateway Club. The group was awarded £6,150 last year to aid the social development of people with learning difficulties, and to support their parents.
