This year marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of Whizz-Kidz, a charity that does incredible work with disabled children and young people all across the UK. To celebrate their birthday, Whizz-Kidz are holding The Big Whizz Quiz, an opportunity for people nationwide to support the charity, as well as help break the world record for the largest quiz ever held (across multiple venues)!

A player-supported charity, Whizz-Kidz believes that every young disabled person has the right to a fun, active childhood and the chance to develop the skills they need to embrace adult life. To do so, they run youth clubs, provide wheelchair skills training, arrange residential camps and work placements, as well as supply wheelchairs.

Since 1990, Whizz-Kidz have transformed the lives of more than 18,000 disabled children and young people, and they aim to help the further 70,000 children still waiting for the right mobility equipment.

Over the past several years, many of Whizz-Kidz's supporters have been running regular "Whizz Quizzes" to raise money for the charity. During the 25th week of the charity's 25th year – on 18th June – Whizz-Kidz are taking that idea nationwide. They are asking people across the UK to invite their friends and family to take part in The Big Whizz Quiz.

If you'd like to participate, just head over to The Big Whizz Quiz website and request a quiz pack. Inside, you'll find questions and answers, as well as fundraising ideas and FAQs about the charity. With a little help, Whizz-Kidz will be able to top the current record for biggest quiz, which sits at 2,679 people.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have been a big supporter of Whizz-Kidz, having awarded £300,000 to the organisation. That funding has made a big impact, enabling them to purchase more mobility equipment and provide training courses for those in need.
