Players of People's Postcode Lottery from West Bromwich have found out today that they are set to share a £3 Million prize pot, as their postcode sector, B70 7, has been drawn as the winner of the November Postcode Millions.
All winners will receive their invitation in the post inviting them to a special event at Domain Plaza Hall in West Bromwich on Saturday 3rd December, where they will find out exactly how much they've won.
Players of People's Postcode Lottery play to win big with their postcode, whilst also raising money for charity. With a minimum of 30% going to good causes across Great Britain and internationally, players have raised over £154 Million for charities to date.
It's not just the lucky players from B70 7 who benefit from playing the charity lottery - good causes from West Bromwich have already won.
Charities in West Bromwich which have received funding include the West Brom Netball Club. The club was awarded £1,000, allowing it to offer recreational and elite netball to young children and adults within the local area. The Great Bridge Community Forum received £862 in funding for their Farley Young People’s Project, delivering sporting activities to young people on a weekly basis.
People's Postcode Lottery Ambassador Judie McCourt said, "I'm really excited to be heading to West Bromwich for our November Postcode Millions. A Postcode Millions is exciting at any time of year, but on the run up to Christmas it makes it doubly so.
"Best of luck to all our lucky players, I can't wait to meet you on 3rd December and start handing out some cheques."
