Street Prize

Congratulations Coleshill

23 May 2020 - B46 1AJ - Coleshill - £30,000
Judie reveals a fantastic £30,000 Street Prize for each of our four winners in Coleshill

It's a fantastic weekend for four Coleshill residents as they've each won £30,000! The windfall arrived after their postcode, B46 1AJ, was announced as the winner of our Saturday Street Prize. Their cheques were revealed by Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt over video call.

So Chuffed

Lucky couple Emma and Lee each play with a ticket, so their household is £60,000 richer. When they saw how much they'd scooped, Lee said, "Thank you! That is brilliant! That is fantastic. I'm so chuffed! I love you Judie!" Emma added, "Lee's mum passed away in January and it's her birthday today. We've been saying, 'Oh my god, she's looking down on us.'"

When asked what they would spend the winnings on, Lee commented, "Spread the love!" Emma added, "It's our daughter's 21st birthday soon so I'm sure her list will increase. We'll just tell her it was £1,000! Lee's sister wants to go to the next World Cup so he can treat her to that."

When asked how they'd celebrate, Emma said, "I know there are a few of us winning so we'll have a toast with the neighbours on our driveway!"

With 32% of each ticket price going to good causes, Emma and Lee are happy to have helped contribute to the £500 Million raised to date. Lee said, "It's a nice feeling. People need help. When you see it firsthand you realise how important all of the charities are."

The pair also want to give back to a local charity close to their hearts. Emma said, "We'll send some money to the John Taylor Hospice as they cared for Lee's mum at home."

Fantastic News

£30,000 winner Sally lives with her sister Sue, and the pair plan to split the win, so they'll both be £15,000 better off. When they found out how much they'd won, Sue said, "Oh wow! I can't believe it, that's fantastic!" Sally added, "We've never won anything before!"

The pair plan to splurge on some luxury purchases with the win. Sally said, "Sue would like a car, I'm sure. I've seen a dress I like online that's quite expensive. I wouldn't normally get it so that can be my lottery-win dress.

"When everything is back to normal we'd like to go on holiday with our other sister, Jane. The three of us like to do that once a year if we can so we will treat her to a long weekend."

When asked how they felt about winning with their neighbours, Sally said, "We'll have to go out and have a chat at a distance. We'll have a drink outside in our gardens!"

Blown Away

Another of our £30,000 winners, Richard, was with his wife Avril when he received the video call, and she burst into tears when the cheque was revealed. Richard said, "Fantastic! Amazing! Things like this just don't happen to us, I'm blown away. Our children and grandchildren will be chuffed to bits.

"There are lots of places we'd like to go when we can. I'd love to be able to take the children on holiday and book a villa somewhere. A family holiday would be great. My daughter's best friend, Emma, has also won so we'll have some drinks in the garden with them."

After her video call Judie McCourt said, "I wish I was able to visit our winners in person, however it's great to see their reactions over video. A huge congratulations to all of them!"
