A truck driver from Fairwater in Cwmbran is also celebrating after scooping £25,000 with his lucky postcode. NP44 4HG was drawn as this weekend's second Saturday Street Prize winning postcode.
John Cornish from Endyngs, is a car fanatic and plans to spend some of his winnings restoring his trusty old Landrover.
He said, "I've got a classic Landrover Discovery, and I wouldn't trade it in for any other car. It is 25 years old and all it needs is a bit of TLC. I might get some new tyres and give it a spray job to bring it back to its former glory.
"I signed up to play People's Postcode Lottery over a year ago when I was off work recovering from a heart attack. I saw an advert on television, and I thought I'd give it a go. I'm glad I did!"
People's Postcode Lottery presenter Danyl Johnson, who presented John with his £25,000 cheque, added, "John had no idea how much he'd won. It's great to spring such an amazing surprise on our players. I had a great day in Wales, and it is always a pleasure to meet players who are helping to raise Millions of pounds for so many great causes."
