Our charity partner Northumberland Wildlife Trust is urging people to help the creatures living in their back gardens this winter.
The heavy snow has buried the food sources which many birds and small mammals rely on. By putting out bowls of fresh water and everyday items like peanuts, seeds, apples and dried fruit you can help them survive this cold snap.
The charity has warned that bread is not the best thing to put out, but is better than nothing.
Our players have raised over £241,200 for Northumberland Wildlife Trust to date. This money is helping the charity to protect Northumberland’s wildlife for future generations.
