Help charities and win cash prizes
People's Postcode Lottery is a charity subscription lottery open to players across Britain. For £10 a month, you can play with your postcode for prizes every single day. Each ticket could pick up life-changing cheques, a brand new BMW, or a Dream Holiday and your subscription helps fund charities near you.
Since 2005, our players have raised over £175 Million for charities and community projects across Britain and beyond. A minimum of 30% of the ticket price goes to charities as unrestricted funding. Our players are helping fantastic charities do amazing work in difficult times.
Our parent company Novamedia has been operating Postcode Lotteries around the world since 1989. Their aim is to raise funds for and widen awareness of deserving charities. All of these lotteries use the same simple recipe – players winning fantastic prizes and helping good causes. There are currently five sister charity lotteries:
- The Dutch National Postcode Lottery
- The Friends Lottery and the BankGiro Lottery
- The German Postcode Lottery
- The Swedish Postcode Lottery
These charity lotteries are a fantastic force for good, and together are the largest fundraising private charity donor in the world. Sign up today and you can help us help even more amazing charities.
Applying for Funding
Do you know a deserving cause near you? They can directly apply for funding from four of the charity trusts which distribute funds raised by our players. Check out the websites:
to find out more details and see when and how to apply. The other charity trusts which share out player funding work with specific charity organisations, grouped by theme. For example, Postcode Children Trust works with specialist organisations to inspire and support children and young people to make the most of their lives and opportunities.
