The third annual Miles for Missing People event was held in Regents Park earlier this year. The event raises vital funds for Missing People which provides a lifeline for missing people in the UK and support for their families, friends and loved ones.

Despite challenging weather conditions, the running event allowed charity service users and supporters to come together and raise funds and awareness of their cause.

Many of Missing People's family representatives attended and participated in the run, including Nicki Durbin, Rachel Elias, Kate and Gerry McCann, and Peter Lawrence.

Speaking about the help he has received from Missing People since his daughter Claudia Lawrence's disappearance, Peter said: "The tremendous support generated by Miles for Missing People is invaluable in helping people to cope with the consequences of someone in their life going missing, maximising the chances of finding them."

Rock Choir added to the special atmosphere with 600 singers performing before and after the race. Their enthusiasm, passion and positivity was infectious and uplifting.

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised £1.8 Million for Missing People. Find out more about the charity and the support Missing People offer to its service users by checking out this video from the Miles for Missing People event.
