People's Postcode Lottery players recently showed their support of the Scottish Wildlife Trust's National Members' Day. Funding from players supported the Question Time session within the Members' Day event.

Held recently in Edinburgh, the Members' day saw talks by wildlife filmmaker Simon King and a number of special guests. A bumper crowd of 300 members were inspired about the wonders of Scotland's wildlife.

During the day, Simon King, star of BBC shows such as Springwatch and Shetland Diaries told the audience about his lasting love affair with Scotland. He was also later interviewed about his life by broadcaster and Trust Ambassador, Stephen Jardine.

Mark Beaumont, another Trust Ambassador, as well as adventurer and cyclist, was part of the People's Postcode Lottery Question Time panel. The panel of environmental experts and enthusiasts discussed contentious issues raised by the audience, including wind farms, culling badgers, careers in conservation and the reintroduction of the European lynx.
