Prizes Stun In Preston

A lucky woman in Preston is celebrating after collecting not just one, but two amazing prizes. Sharon from Braddon Street was ecstatic to discover her postcode, PR1 4TP, had been drawn as a winner with People's Postcode Lottery. Sharon picked up the keys to a brand new BMW but also doubled a £25,000 cash prize to a fantastic £50,000 as she plays with two tickets.

Sharon works as a machine operator at a local factory. She was joined by her husband James, mum Martha, and dad Albert when People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Danyl Johnson revealed her wonderful prizes. Sharon said, "Wow – I just can't stop smiling. I'm completely dumbfounded as I never thought anything like this would happen to me! My jaw hit the floor when I found out I'd won the car too!"

"I'm off on holiday to Greece soon so it's great knowing I won't need to worry about spending money - I'll definitely be celebrating with a few nice meals out! I have four sons and James has two daughters, and between us we have ten grandchildren, so I'll be spoiling them with the windfall."

32% of the ticket price goes to charities. To date, People's Postcode Lottery players have raised more than £310 Million for 4,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally. This prize was part of a draw promoted by charity Plan International UK.
