Neighbours Share Fun In Appleton

03 September - WA4 5EQ - Appleton - £25,000

Two players from Appleton in Warrington got lucky this weekend and are planning to share their joy with other residents of their street.

The winners, neighbours in Dudlow Green Road, scooped £25,000 cheques when their postcode WA4 5EQ was drawn in one of our Saturday Street Prizes today.

Kate Price said she was stunned to win the prize but is happily planning how to spend it. Kate said, "I was so shocked when I realised I had won. £25,000 is absolutely amazing and I'm just thrilled.

"I'm going to do lots of home refurbishments and get the drive done so it couldn't have come at a better time!

"I won with a neighbour so we're both going to take some of our other neighbours out for a big celebration, so happy days!"

Our second lucky winner was unavailable to receive their cheque in person but they won't miss out. Their whopping £25,000 win will be paid direct into their bank account.

People's Postcode Lottery Street Prize Presenter Danyl Johnson said, "It was great to head over to Appleton and meet one of our lovely winners. They're taking some of their neighbours out for a celebration which is fantastic – congratulations!”

Players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised over £135 Million for good causes to date, helping fantastic charitable organisations across Great Britain and around the world.

Also this weekend, lucky players in Gateshead scooped the August Postcode Millions, another Saturday Street Prize landed in Ashington, neighbours in Woking scooped £5,000 and a BMW, and Dream Holidays were won in Shanklin.
