There are two lucky sets of winners this weekend, as the Saturday Street Prize has landed in Peterborough, and three players in Beighton have won £5,000 Dream Holidays.

This week's Saturday Street Prize landed in PE2 8GB in Peterborough, and one player is celebrating a big win. Claire Gibb, 24, couldn't believe it when she pulled out the £25,000 cheque from the gold envelope. "I was so shocked," she said. "It's so surreal."

Claire, who is a social worker, has been playing People's Postcode Lottery for the past couple of years. "I signed up to play, as I thought that if my postcode was revealed as a winner and I didn't, I would be gutted," she said. "Just like my neighbours probably are today!"

Mother-of-one Claire knows exactly how she will be spending her winnings. "I definitely want to get a holiday booked for me and my eight-year-old daughter Adrianna," she said. "I haven't been able to afford to go on holiday for about seven years, so it will be great to get some much needed sun for the two of us. I think somewhere like Majorca would be nice."

As well as a trip for her and her daughter, Claire has another very special project in mind. "I've always wanted to open my own children's home," she said. "I grew up in care and would like to give something back," she said. "It does cost a lot of money, but I can look into some smart investments, and hopefully this money will help me achieve my dream."

Players of People's Postcode Lottery are excellent at giving back. Players have raised over £75.6 Million for charities and good causes across Great Britain and internationally. Action for Asperger's in Corby is one charity close to Peterborough to receive funding. Action for Asperger's is a charity that offers a bespoke counselling, emotional support, diagnostic and advocacy service for people with Asperger's Syndrome. They were awarded £5,000 for their sensory therapy room.

Beighton is home to our second set of winners this week, with a trio of players set for trips of a lifetime. Their postcode, S20 1AR, is this week's £5,000 Dream Holiday winner.

Gail Spencer, 56, was over the moon when she discovered she was a winner after only five months of playing People's Postcode Lottery. "I can't believe it," she said. "I never thought I would win so soon."

The lucky winner is planning to treat her partner Glen and daughter Katie to a holiday. "Now that I have won the Dream Holiday, I will be able to take my family abroad," she said. "I've never been able to afford to go further than Benidorm, but now I can."

Gail signed up in March after her colleague signed up to play. "I've still to tell my colleague that I have won already," Gail said. "I think he'll be gutted that it wasn't him!"
