A lucky resident of Allithwaite is celebrating after their postcode was drawn in Sunday's Street Prize.

The winner who plays with postcode LA11 7QG, scooped an incredible £30,000.

It's not only players who benefit from People's Postcode Lottery as 32% of the ticket price goes to charities. More than £301 Million has been raised, to date, for over 4,000 deserving causes across Great Britain and internationally. Today's Street Prize was part of a draw promoted by Canal & River Trust.

Close to our winner, a good cause that has received support from players is the Tigerlily Trust. The group was awarded £15,600 last year to expand its specialist support service for bereaved parents.
