Street Prize

Made It In Maidstone

24 September - ME15 6FH - Maidstone - £25,000

Five lucky players from Maidstone were delighted to find out that they had each won £25,000 with People's Postcode Lottery this weekend.

The ecstatic winners from Gleneagles Drive scooped the Saturday Street Prize today after their postcode ME15 6FH was drawn as a winner.

Hannah Drury said she was speechless when the cheque was revealed. "It's been a whole different kind of week, an amazing one! My partner Michael and I have a wee boy who's only one year old, and we've actually got one on the way so the win has come at a perfect time.

"I think we'll be having a look now at a new car and we're getting married in 2018 so we'll definitely be able to put some money in the pot for that too. Supporting charities was a massive part of why I chose to sign up – it meant I was doing something for me but also other people at the same time so that's fantastic."

Brian Pembroke, another lucky neighbour, said he couldn't be happier with the win. "I've never won anything my whole life except maybe £10 so to win £25,000 is absolutely fantastic. We'll be able to replace the car, do some work to the house and maybe we'll even be able to take a trip to Australia to visit some family.

"My wife is particularly fond of animal charities so it's great to give to them whilst having the chance to win like this."

Three of Brian and Hannah's neighbours on the same street also each received fantastic £25,000 prizes.

Over £142 Million has been raised to date by players for over 2,000 good causes across Great Britain and internationally. A project that players have supported near Maidstone is Kent Search and Rescue which received £20,000 this year to fund a new search and rescue vehicle.

There were celebrations in Rudheath this weekend, as another £25,000 Saturday Street Prize also landed in CW9 7DY.
