Terrific News For Tiverton

Hundreds of people in the picturesque Devon town of Tiverton will have a Christmas to remember after landing People’s Postcode Lottery’s biggest-ever single prize of £18.3 Million.

Players in the postcode sector EX16 6 will bag a share of the bumper pot, less than a fortnight before the big day.

Winning locals will find out exactly how much they’ve scooped during a special Postcode Millions prize event at the market town’s 400-year-old Blundell’s School on Saturday 13 December. They can expect to take home cheques for at least £3,000.

The full winning postcode will also be revealed at the event. Anyone playing with this postcode will scoop the largest cash prizes.

People’s Postcode Lottery presenters Matt Johnson, Judie McCourt and Danyl Johnson will be at the event in Tiverton - where The Chase star Mark 'The Beast' Labbett was born - to reveal cheques and celebrate with winners.

Matt said: "I’m thrilled to be heading to Devon to celebrate the largest Postcode Lottery prize that’s ever been won.

"It’s set to be a fantastic day for hundreds of neighbours, and the excitement is really building. Saturday can’t come soon enough!"

Postcode Lottery players have helped raise more than £1.5 Billion for thousands of charities simply by playing.

One of those charities, Young Lives vs Cancer, has received over £22 Million in funding. They provide vital emotional, practical, financial and clinical support to young cancer patients and their families.

And this year, a much-loved local charity, Action East Devon, received £50,000 thanks to players. They work with children and young people, as well as their families, running support services for mental health and wellbeing.
