This July, it's a summer of Street Prize winners. We've got whopping £30,000 prizes catching winners unawares in postcodes every day of the week. Our Street Prize team have been in Luncarty, knocking on the doors and ringing the bells of two lucky neighbours with postcode PH1 3JF.
Over The Moon
Retiree Mabel was delighted with her win. She said, "I'm over the moon! I'll be sharing it with all of my nearest and dearest, and maybe something for myself too.
"I signed up because I thought it would be nice to help out all the different charities - everyone gets a bit of it."
Wonderful To Win
Retail manager Suzanne signed up on behalf of her mum, Norma, so they have decided to share the money.
Suzanne said, "We didn't dream anything like this! Me and my mum thought it was a wind-up to begin with.
"It's wonderful to win with my neighbour Mabel, who I've known all my life. She's actually the reason we signed up as she told us all about the local charities that are supported by playing."
Norma added, "It's absolutely wonderful, we're still in shock. I think the money will go on a nice holiday next year, maybe Florida, and we'll do up the house."
Street Prize Presenter Matt Johnson was in Luncarty to meet our winners. He said, "Huge congratulations to Mabel, Suzanne and Norma! I am so delighted for our wonderful winners in beautiful Perthshire - I hope they all enjoy spending their winnings.
"I got the chance to visit Kinclaven Bluebell Woods just down the road from the winners which is managed by Woodland Trust, supported by funding from players like them. It was fascinating to learn about how important managing the woodlands is, both for the environment and for people to enjoy."
Projects Across The World
With 32% of the ticket price going to charities and good causes, players of People's Postcode Lottery have now raised over £450 Million for thousands of projects and groups across the world.
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted by Woodland Trust, which has received over £10 Million thanks to player funding. With this support, the charity can continue to create, protect and restore native woodland across the country, including Kinclaven Bluebell Woods and Moncreiffe Hill in Perth.
With fantastic Prizes announced every single day, you don't want to miss out on all the fun! It couldn't be easier to sign up - it only takes two minutes, and it might be the best decision you ever made! If you're not playing yet, sign up today for your chance to win.
