APOPO

Postcode Lottery players help APOPO train animals to save lives

A person holds a large rat wearing a harness. The rat's whiskers are prominent as it looks forward.

APOPO has it's operational headquarters, training and research center in Tanzania and clears landmines in Angola and Cambodia, and soon in Zimbabwe and Colombia. APOPO also detects tuberculosis in Tanzania, Mozambique and Ethiopia.

Support from players directly helps people across the world who live in fear of landmines or who are hindered by tuberculosis.
