Dogs Trust

Dogs Trust is working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction, and no healthy dog has to be put down.

Dogs Trust care for nearly 17,000 dogs at their 19 rehoming centres nationwide. They believe that through educating the dog owners of tomorrow the number of dogs who come into their care can be reduced.

Dogs Trust's Education Programme covers all of the UK and includes a huge variety of fun, engaging and interactive workshops. Their team of Dogs Trust Education Officers offer free advice on everything from responsible dog ownership to the important aspects of safety around dogs. All of their school workshops are tailored to meet the National Curricula for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Some of the Education Officers also bring along their own dogs to meet teachers and pupils for a truly interactive experience.

Our players are supporting Dogs Trust with vital funding which has allowed them to expand their Education Programme with a new Education Officer for Edinburgh, Rachel Bliss.

For more information on Dogs Trust's Education Programme or to book a workshop please go to www.learnwithdogstrust.org.uk/index.html.
