OnSide gives tens of thousands of young people a chance to shine and an environment where they can be their best selves
OnSide is a national youth charity that believes all young people should have the opportunity to discover their passion and their purpose. To explore their potential. To find out what they've got and where it could take them.
It does this by funding, building and supporting a growing network of state-of-the-art, multimillion pound youth centres (called Youth Zones) in the country's most economically disadvantaged areas.
Youth Zones are brand new, purpose-built safe spaces, fizzing with energy, and crammed with incredible facilities. Open 7 days a week, for just £5 membership a year and 50p a visit – Youth Zones are staffed by skilled and dedicated youth workers who truly believe in young people - helping them see what they could achieve, and giving them the skills, confidence and ambition to go for it.
The life-changing youth worker support in Youth Zones helps tens of thousands of young people from a diverse range of backgrounds to thrive - by giving them the chance to shine and an environment where they can be their best selves.
Alongside creating new Youth Zones, OnSide provides ongoing support to the network of Youth Zones - training the amazing people that run them, and capturing and sharing the impact Youth Zones are making, so that the Network continues to learn as it grows.
