A stunned naval contractor worker and her ex-sailor partner told of their double joy after winning £400,000 on People’s Postcode Lottery - with the prize also boosting a charity cause close to their hearts.

Emotional Sharon Healy landed £400,000 alongside partner Chris Smith when PO12 1GB in Gosport won the People’s Postcode Lottery Millionaire Street prize.
Every ticket was worth £200,000, but Sharon doubled her windfall by playing with two.
Sharon started crying and shaking after being presented with her first cheque - then her emotions overtook her when lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson surprised her by whipping out a second one.

The couple are already booked to go on a family holiday to Turkey later in the year. Sharon said the win will allow her to treat her loved ones - especially her granddaughter, after her daughter gave birth just a fortnight ago.
“I’ve got a two-week-old granddaughter. I’m going to Wales where my daughter lives with her partner on Monday and I’m sure she’ll be getting spoiled.”

Sharon shared the £1 Million Millionaire Street prize with two neighbours when their street was revealed as a winner.
Another player also doubled their winnings by playing with two tickets, while a third neighbour won a share of the prize with a single ticket.
All the neighbours were delighted to hear their street’s win means local charities have also benefitted.
Their street’s win also means Veterans Outreach Support has received £60,000 thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The charity supports Armed Forces and Merchant Navy veterans, their families and carers across Portsmouth and the wider Solent region, offering welfare advice, wellbeing activities and access to mental health support.
Chief Executive Ian Millen said: "Veterans Outreach Support is thrilled to receive this £60,000 award."
"This vital funding will help us continue supporting the mental health, welfare and wellbeing of veterans and their families across Portsmouth and the Solent region."
Deserving Causes
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted on behalf of Postcode Education Trust which supports organisations including AfriKids, Save the Children and Theirworld.
