Send Millionaire Street
Shocked Amy Lucas was delighted after landing an incredible £166,666 on People’s Postcode Lottery.
Amy had been trying to get her life back on track after years of illness sparked by Lyme disease and Covid left her floored.
She said: "This is life-changing and I don’t mean that light-heartedly. This can literally turn my whole life around in a year. I can't tell you what this is going to do."
Winner Amy was delighted with her cheque for £166,666The trained cognitive hypnotherapist added: "I’ve had a good start to 2026 already, but this has just blown it out of the water. This is now my year starting today.
"I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am. I’m ecstatic. Over the moon, in disbelief and in shock. There is a lot of emotion going around in me right now."
Amy shared £1 Million with four other neighbours in Send after GU23 7AZ landed today's Millionaire Street prize.
Every ticket was worth £166,666, but one winner doubled their prize to £333,332 by playing with two tickets.
Amy burst into tears when her cheque was revealed by Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson.
Now she wants to further her studies on advanced Belief Coding courses so she can help others who are struggling to turn their lives around.
She said: "There’s a course I want to do which will help me help people, so I’ll keep on with my studying.
"I made a big effort with Belief Coding over the last year and my life has changed.
"Now I can give back to people after I was supported. If it hadn’t been for all those people, I don’t think I would be standing here today."
But she does want to buy a few treats before embarking on fresh studies - including a present for her beloved pet Shih Tzu dog, Dexter.
She said: "I can buy the dog a new coat for the winter, improve the house and then I don’t really know! This is a lot of money.
"I’ve got a friend in Thailand waiting to hear how much this cheque actually is. I can go and meet her now."
Our Ambassador Danyl Johnson revealed Amy's winning chequeAmy signed up for Postcode Lottery to support a range of charities.
She said: "I came to you guys to support charities, so I don’t have to do it myself individually."
And she was delighted to learn that a number of local charities have also benefitted from her Millionaire Street win.
And one of the organisations getting a funding boost is LinkAble Woking, which has received £50,000.
LinkAble supports children and adults with learning disabilities to create the life they want to live.
Their fully accessible centre offers a range of activities that can be tailored to individual needs, with its dedicated staff also running regular day trips. It also provides support to parents and carers, giving them time to rest and reset.
And the funding raised by Postcode Lottery players will help the charity continue its invaluable work of empowering those with additional needs and their loved ones.
Sue Stockman, CEO of LinkAble, said: "The generous funding will mean over 300 local families can continue to access LinkAble’s support."
"It will provide safe, inclusive and engaging activities for people with additional needs, while also offering a much-needed rest and rejuvenation for parents and carers."
She added: "Thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery, local people with a learning disability and autistic people will have the opportunity to build confidence, form friendship, and develop the skills they need to create the life that they choose. Thank you."
And one mum told of the 'lifeline' LinkAble has become to families like hers.
Suraiya, whose son is supported by the charity, said: "LinkAble is a lifeline to so many families.
"Our child is not able to attend mainstream activities due to his needs, but at LinkAble, he is happy and thriving."
