Tupton Millionaire Street
Overwhelmed Allan Taylor told how he accidentally bought two tickets for the Postcode Lottery - and won £666,666.
Doing the double

"This was the best mistake I’ve ever made."
Allan reckons he pressed the wrong button when he signed up online for his subscription - and plumped for two tickets instead of one.
But he laughed off the gaffe when he was presented with two cheques for £333,333 each, the biggest prize for a single Postcode Lottery player so far this year.
Allan shared a £1 Million pot with one other neighbour in Tupton after S42 6AE landed our weekly Millionaire Street prize. Every ticket was worth £333,333, with Allan doubling his prize.
Allan said: "It was the night before and I was saying, ‘I think they’ve forgotten our front door’ after seeing the TV advert. Then, a few hours later we got the call."
Twice as nice

"You never really expect to win. I’m absolutely speechless, to be honest."
Incredibly, the whopping double windfall comes just weeks after the couple retired early after months of carefully planning the next chapter of their lives.
The windfall means Bev may now be able to persuade Allan to go with her on a dream trip to Australia.
Bev said: "I’ve always wanted to go to Australia, but Allan said he would never go unless we fly business class."
Allan chipped in: "It would be too long a flight. I can’t sit in a seat for 24 hours. At least in business class you can lie down and go to bed. I never thought we’d be able to do that."
First, there’s a double family celebration next month when Bev’s son John gets married - and it also marks their 24th wedding anniversary.
Bev said: "My son is getting married in three weeks - this might mean a bit of an extra wedding present."

The Millionaire Street win means local charities also benefit. And one organisation, RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire, has been awarded £75,000 thanks to funds raised by Postcode Lottery players.
The charity works to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals, taking in around 400 neglected, abandoned and unwanted animals every year. This includes dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, who are cared for by the charity’s dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
Branch manager Rachel Gray said: “This funding gives us the stability to plan for our future and the confidence to keep rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming the animals across Chesterfield and North Derbyshire who need us most.”
Other charities receiving funding include:
Citizens Advice North East Derbyshire - £75,000
Pathways: Chesterfield Day Centre for the Homeless - £50,000
Clay Cross Foodbank - £40,000
Deserving causes
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted on behalf of Postcode International Trust which supports charities including CARE International UK, Mary’s Meals and Action Against Hunger.
Players aren't the only ones who benefit from People's Postcode Lottery. A minimum of 30% of each ticket price goes to charities and good causes. Thanks to our fantastic players, more than £1.7 Billion has been raised for thousands of deserving projects.
