Last minute miracle

Amy Bird had less than three hours to spare when a TV advert prompted her to join our October draws on the last day of September. Her last-minute punt paid off when our crew turned up with her bumper cheque.
Amy said: "I just thought, 'Is this actually happening?' I genuinely can't believe I won this amount of money. It's going to change everything for me and my kids. It honestly is."
Amy was one of three neighbours sharing £1 Million in Plymouth, Devon, after PL9 7FW landed our Millionaire Street prize today. Each ticket was worth £333,333. It's the seventh of eight £1 Million prizes handed out this week, with a new Millionaire Street winner announced daily from October 24 to 31.
Family holiday fun

Hard-working mum Jane Jones was speechless after bagging £333,333. Her first thought was treating her loved ones. The family, including son Lewis and daughter Holly, are looking forward to spending time together.
Jane said: “The four of us, we all work hard, and then we try and have one family holiday every year, we all put money aside each month. This one will be extra special.”
Jane added: “It'll be so nice just for all of us to go on holiday. I think just spending more time with the family means more to me than anything - that's what's really priceless.”
There could even be a little upgrade at home, with Jane hoping to expand the family's bar area, where she and her friends enjoy karaoke nights and dancing.
Home sweet home

Along the road Tom Pearce also scooped £333,333 and says his delayed house sale was fate.
The young entrepreneur, who runs a coach firm, had been preparing to move earlier this year. But after the deal dragged and plans to move fell through, Tom was happily still living at his current address in the winning postcode.
Tom had sold his home in April before the deal fell through, with the sale eventually progressing in August. But he struggled to find somewhere new, even having two offers on properties beaten by rival buyers.
Tom said: “I don't know why it's taken so long to sell and buy but maybe it was for a reason. A £333,333 reason.”
Deserving causes
The winning neighbours were also delighted to hear that local charities have received funding as a result of their big win. Elder Tree Befriending has been surprised with £50,000 to support its work, thanks to funds raised by Postcode Lottery players.
The Plymouth-based charity helps people over 50 live full, independent lives in their own homes. It supports more than 1,600 people across every neighbourhood in the city each week, running over 85 health and social activities in around 50 locations.
Today's prize is part of a draw promoted on behalf of Postcode Earth Trust which supports organisations including the Canal and River Trust, The Conservation Volunteers and National Trust.
Players aren't the only ones who benefit from Postcode Lottery. A minimum of 30% of each ticket price goes to charities and good causes. Thanks to our fantastic players, more than £1.8 Billion has been raised for thousands of deserving projects.
