HOMELESS CHARITIES IN MAIDSTONE THAT NEED YOUR SUPPORT

MSA

With service users ranging from the age of 19 all the way up to 70, MSA supports individuals and families who are staying in temporary accommodation, as well as sleeping rough on the streets. The charity helps a wide range of people, from former servicemen and women affected by PTSD, to people who've run away, been subjected to domestic abuse, suffered a bereavement or have a mental illness or addiction.

As well as serving around a hundred meals every night through its soup kitchen, the charity also rents a unit to provide the people it helps with an address for things like their post, GP and dentist, helping them along the road to recovery and into employment and stable accommodation. You could volunteer with MSA at the soup kitchen or with outreach services. You could also help by donating old clothes and getting involved with fundraising efforts.

Depaul UK

Founded more than 30 years ago, Depaul UK has been working hard to help disadvantaged young people ever since.

Funding from our players has helped the charity to spread out to countries such as the US, France and the Republic of Ireland. You could get involved with Depaul UK by helping out at its West Kent project called The Grove, or by catching a train into London to volunteer at the charity's head office at Sherborne House.
