Heritage Heroes

Heritage Heroes will deliver a programme of major restoration, career recovery and conservation volunteering, which will rebuild the lives of retired military veterans. The project will engage retired military veterans in a major canal restoration campaign that will impact up to 350,000 people across 6 sites in England, as well as provide them with skills, training and routes into employment. 

The project will also build a high profile volunteer recruitment campaign to support the restoration and create a self-sufficient conservation workforce.
