Street Prize

Lucky Llansadwrn

07 April 2019 - LL59 5SR - Llansadwrn - £30,000

Two lucky players from Llansadwrn are starting off their week in style after their postcode, LL59 5SR, scooped them £30,000 each thanks to winning our Street Prize.

Managing Director, and father of three, Keith was "blown away" to discover that his postcode had scooped him a massive £30,000.

Keith was at home with his wife of 30 years, Corbie, when Street Prize Presenter Matt Johnson and the team came knocking on their door.

Keith, who described his win as "utterly bizarre" said, "I just can't believe I've actually won, to have the People's Postcode Lottery team at my door and handing me a gold envelope, it's just the most bizarre and wonderful day."

Marvellous Malta

Keith and Corbie are celebrating 30 years of marriage this year and have planned to take their three children, Valerie, John, and Steph, off to Malta where they enjoyed their honeymoon back in 1989. "We've always had such fond memories from our honeymoon in Malta and with this being our Pearl anniversary we thought it was time to head back and take the whole family. Now we've won this money we've even more to celebrate!"

Apart from their trip to Malta, Keith plans to treat his three children. "I'll definitely give the kids some money and our daughter Steph is a student, so I think it's a good idea to get a laptop for all her studying," said Keith.

Keith started playing People's Postcode Lottery for two reasons. He said, "I really liked that local charities are supported, it means a lot to me to see local charities near me getting the money they deserve but I also hoped maybe I'd win one day and now I have! With People's Postcode Lottery I really feel like it's win-win, I'm winning and so are the charities."

People's Postcode Lottery Street Prize Presenter, Matt Johnson, said, "It was lovely to meet Keith and his wife Corbie today, they are a great pair and 2019 is already such an exciting year for them with their big anniversary. I'm delighted that we can add even more joy to their special year."

One other lucky winner also won £30,000 but was unavailable to collect their cheque in person. Their winnings will go directly into their bank account.
