Four neighbours from Waterlooville are ending the week in style after winning a whopping £30,000 each.
Their windfall comes after their postcode, PO7 7RZ, was announced as today's Street Prize winner.
Lost For Words
Our first winner Marion gasped and was left struggling for words after receiving her prize cheque for £30,000. When the news sank in, she said, "Oh my giddy aunt! I can't believe it.
"I'm feeling floaty, actually. I feel on top of the moon! I've won a lot of money which I never dreamt I would have. It will make a great difference."
Marion learned she was a winner alongside her partner, Ray. Ray said the couple would use some of the winnings to treat their family over the holidays. He noted, "We'll take the family out for Christmas. That's a start, and then after Christmas we'll decide what to do with the money."
Marion then joked, "I will decide, he won't!"
When asked if she planned to treat herself with the winnings Marion added, "I'd love new carpets. And to have a little holiday somewhere. We haven't had a holiday in years!"
But her first plans are to properly celebrate. She said, "I've got a couple of bottles of bubbly already! I think we'll go out for a nice meal somewhere tonight."
Marion was thrilled to hear that some of her neighbours had also scooped a prize. She said, "We're all like a family down here. It feels really, really good knowing that they've got the same."
Making Memories In Miami
Diane was another big winner today. She was left stunned after finding out she had netted a thrilling £30,000. Diane said, "That's amazing. I don't know what to say."
Diane heard the good news alongside her sister, also named Marion, who added, "We've never won anything in our lives. Never. It's absolutely amazing!"
The sisters said they would share some of the winnings with their mum and planned to arrange a big holiday with the cash. Diane said, "We want to spend it on a holiday for sure. I'd love to go back to Miami and maybe New York on the way back!"
Diane previously visited Miami while competing as a natural bodybuilder. She added, "I didn't get to see much of the sights so it would be nice to go back!"
Diane was also thrilled to hear about the other winners on the street and said, "It's nice to share the good news with the neighbours. There will be a nice party, I think!"
People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Danyl Johnson met up with our winners to deliver their prize cheques. Danyl said, "What a lovely way to end the week for our Waterlooville winners, a massive congratulations to them all!
"It seems like such a lovely community here and I'm sure our winners will have a fantastic time treating themselves, and their loved ones, with the cash."
