£1 Million Prize
Wollaston Millionaire Street

A purple-mad mum has told how she'll transform her house into 'fifty shades of purple' after winning a share of £1 Million.
Helen Goodman scooped £125,000 and has vowed to further decorate her home in her favourite colour - adding to her purple front door, wallpaper, carpets, and furniture.
And the mum-of-three doesn't just have purple purchases in mind, she's now planning a family reunion in America, and a dream Caribbean cruise with her husband Tony.
Helen, of Wollaston, Northamptonshire, said: "The only way I can describe [winning] is just wow. It just means so much.
"My love of purple is a bit obsessive but it's just my thing, it's what I do.
"I'll be able to get my house completely finished and my house will be the house of 50 shades of purple."
Natasha, Helen’s eldest daughter, added: "My mum is purple-mad. I even bought her a plaque that says, 'The house of fifty shades of purple.'"
Helen was among eight people in Wollaston sharing £1 Million in today's Millionaire Street prize when NN29 7SN was announced as the winner. Each winning ticket was worth £125,000.
Helen was left in disbelief when a Postcode Lottery camera crew knocked on her purple front door, surprising her with a six-figure cheque.
Helen, who shed a few tears after her stunning sum was revealed, said: "Oh my God. That's life-changing."
Moments after winning, Helen walked into her house and nonchalantly told her daughter Natasha that she'd just won Postcode Lottery.
Helen said: "I went to get a tissue, and I just said to my daughter 'I've just won the lottery'. She didn't have a clue that a camera crew were at my door until I told her."
Natasha added: "I don't believe this stuff actually happens. You know when you don't believe everything you see on television?
"It’s a bizarre feeling. It is real! I'm just so happy for my mum."
Helen, whose purple passion even extends to her hairstyle, says her first purple purchase might be a garden chair.
She said: "I've seen a big purple garden chair that I wanted but it was too big to fit in my car. I've got a picture of it on my phone - I could get it delivered now.
"I've also still got two rooms in the house that need decorated - probably in two different shades of purple."
Helen has also added a few holidays to her spending list which include a trip to reunite with her cousins in Detroit, Michigan, and a luxury cruise.
She said: "I'm definitely going to see my cousins in America, they've visited us here but I've never had the opportunity to go over and visit them until now.
"And my husband and I have always wanted to go on a Caribbean cruise, and it's something now that we can definitely do."
Helen also wants to treat her hard-working husband Tony Goodman.
She said: "My husband needs a new car, so it would be nice to get him a car. Although he likes purple, he's not obsessed like I am, so I don't think the new car will be purple.
"He works in a warehouse and I'm going to meet up on his lunchbreak, he's going to be so shocked."
Helen told how the win has brightened up a difficult period, after mourning the loss of both her parents in recent years.
She said: "We have had a very tough last few years. We lost my mum four years ago, and we lost my dad just a year ago. We’ve had to struggle through with everything.
"My mum always did the lottery. So, she'll be looking down on me glad that we've won something."
Self-employed tiler Cameron Day also bagged £125,000 and said it'll fund a first house and a first-ever holiday abroad with his wife Lauren.
Cameron, who is currently renting at his winning address, said: "It's unreal. It's probably like 10 years' worth of work. Am I dreaming? Am I still asleep?"
Cameron and Lauren are planning to buy their first home.
Lauren said: "I'd like to put a deposit on a house because we’ve rented since we were 19, so it would be nice to have a house that is actually ours."
The cheering couple already have their first holiday abroad booked to Zante, Greece, in September.
Cameron said: "We have lots of spending money now. We could have two holidays this year. We've both never been abroad."
Cameron said he's only used to experiencing misfortune and never dreamt that he'd win such a massive amount.
He said: "I have no luck at all. I've had three vans in the last three years.
"After my first van broke down, I had to buy another van and within three days, the clutch cylinder was gone. Just money, money, money. I don't have any luck with vehicles."
He added: "I'll definitely buy a newer family car, and probably another van and the rest will go towards a house and a holiday."
Cameron, who runs his own tiling business, is looking forward to some work respite.
He said: "I travel all over and I usually take every job that comes in."
Another £125k winner was Sophie Bishopp who is now browsing for five-star holiday deals to Mexico for her and hubby Nathan’s long-awaited honeymoon.
Sophie, who works in Tesco, said: "It's incredible. I feel like I'm going to wake up tomorrow and this will all have been a dream."
Sophie and her husband Nathan Bishopp got married two years ago and had a honeymoon booked to Mexico, but had to cancel it after their Jack Russell Terrier Rolo was badly injured.
Sophie said: "We were meant to fly to Mexico on New Year’s Day 2024, but our dog slipped his disc three days before, so he needed a big operation and needed looking after and we wanted to be there for him.
"We thought we wouldn’t be able to re-book it until Grace was a lot older and we didn’t need that money for her. Now we’ll get there a little bit sooner which will be lovely."
Mum-of-one Sophie plans to treat her five-year-old daughter Grace to a princess extravaganza.
Sophie said: "Grace is really into her princesses right now. So, maybe we'll go to Disneyland for her and Mexico for us."
Conveniently, Nathan works as a financial advisor and Sophie says all their spending decisions will be well thought out.
She said: "He's probably already working out what we’ll do with the money."
