What's the difference in playing with 1, 2 or 3 tickets?

The more tickets you play with, the more you win. If your postcode gets lucky, and you play with two tickets, you'll double your prize money. If you play with three tickets, you triple your winnings.

For example, in our Sunday Street Prize every ticket in one lucky postcode wins £30,000. That means if you play with one ticket, and your postcode gets drawn, you'll win £30,000. But if you play with two tickets then you'd win £60,000, and if you play with three tickets then you'd pick up £90,000.

The same applies with our £1,000 prizes, which run from Monday to Friday. These fixed amount prizes are awarded per ticket. The more tickets you play with, the more you win.

Prize funds in the £1 Million draw and Postcode Millions draw are shared on a per-ticket basis. The more tickets you play with, the greater your share of the total prize fund. See the How are winners selected? section on our How It Works page for more information.

Each ticket costs £12 per month to play. For two tickets, your subscription would be £24 per month, and for three tickets, it would cost £36 per month.

Where can I buy People's Postcode Lottery tickets?

The simplest way to buy People's Postcode Lottery tickets is to sign up to play. You can also buy tickets by telephoning us on our freephone telephone number 0808 109 8765. Our Customer Experience team members will guide you through the sign up process and set up your monthly subscription. For details on our opening hours, see the Contact Us page.

Each month, there are a set of draws. You cannot buy tickets for one individual draw - the minimum subscription is for one month and costs £12. Each payment enters your ticket into all the draws for a month in advance. That means your ticket plays for all the prizes in that month of play.

Most of our players make monthly payments for their tickets by Direct Debit. Setting this up is quick and easy and you'll never have to update your details. Any prize money will be paid directly into your bank account and you are fully protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. It's also possible to sign up for a subscription using Debit Card or PayPal. In addition, we offer a PayPal Express Checkout, which allows you to sign up to play faster using your PayPal account.

Previously, it was possible to directly sign up to play with Credit Card or pay by Debit Card using a specific 'VISA via PayPal' approach. It's no longer possible to sign up for new tickets using these payment methods. You can use your Debit Card to pay directly by choosing the Debit Card option in the sign up process.

Please note, we do not accept Clydesdale Bank Debit Cards, UnionPay Debit Cards or non-UK Debit Cards.

If you are an existing player and wish to amend the number of tickets you play with, our Customer Experience team can help.  If you wish to reduce your number of subscriptions or change your subscriptions, simply call us on freephone number 0808 109 8765. Discussing changes in a telephone call allows us to obtain all the necessary information from you and we can confirm back to you that the required changes are in place and when your last draw date will be on any cancelled subscription.

Our Winners are notified by email, SMS message, letter or phone call depending on the prize won. We recommend that players register an email address with us and keep their address and telephone details up to date, to ensure they can be notified of any prize wins. To update any of your contact details, please give our Customer Experience staff a call on 0808 109 8765.

If you pay by Direct Debit or if you signed up by other payment methods but have already registered your bank account details with us, your prize money will be transferred to your bank account within 28 days. If you haven’t registered your bank details with us yet, please ring us on freephone number 0808 109 8765 and we can arrange to pay your winnings.
