You can sign up to join People's Postcode Lottery on our website postcodelottery.co.uk or by calling our Customer Experience team on our freephone telephone number 0808 109 8765. People's Postcode Lottery is an ongoing monthly subscription lottery where paid tickets are automatically entered into all our prize draws. You can buy up to three tickets to play in our draws. Each ticket is based on your chosen postcode and costs £12.25 per month to play. There are Prizes announced every single day of the month. A minimum of 30% of each ticket price goes to good causes. Signing Up

The more tickets you play with, the more you win. If your postcode gets lucky, and you play with two tickets, you'll double your prize money. If you play with three tickets, you'll triple your winnings.

For example, in our £250,000** prize every ticket in 1 lucky postcode wins £250,000. That means if you play with one ticket, and your postcode gets drawn, you'll win £250,000. But if you play with two tickets then you'd win £500,000, and if you play with three tickets then you'd pick up £750,000.

The same applies with our £1,000 prizes, which run every day. These fixed amount prizes are awarded per ticket. The more tickets you play with, the more you win. Prize funds in the £1 Million draw and Postcode Millions draw are shared on a per-ticket basis. The more tickets you play with, the greater your share of the total prize fund. Each ticket costs £12.25 per month to play. For two tickets, your subscription would be £24.50 per month, and for three tickets, it would cost £36.75 per month.

Each payment enters your ticket into all the draws for a month in advance. That means your ticket plays for all the prizes in that month of play.

How Does Postcode Lottery Work?

Prizes are announced every day of the week with People's Postcode Lottery. You pay monthly for your ticket and when you sign up you will be informed of your first draw date. Winning postcodes from this draw will be announced daily from the following Saturday. After this date, check out the winning postcodes revealed every day to see if your postcode gets lucky!

With People's Postcode Lottery, your prize money is usually paid directly into your account within 28 days of your win. If you do not pay by Direct Debit, haven't previously registered bank details with us, and you win more than £3,000 per subscription, you will need to provide us with bank account information. In that case, please ring us on freephone number 0808 109 8765 and we can arrange to pay your winnings. Please confirm this bank account information to us within six months of your win.

Previously, it was possible to directly sign up to play with Credit Card or pay by Debit Card using a specific 'VISA via PayPal' approach. It's no longer possible to sign up for new tickets using these payment methods. You can use your Debit Card to pay directly by choosing the Debit Card option in the sign up process.

Please note, we do not accept UnionPay Debit Cards or non-UK Debit Cards.

If you are an existing player and wish to amend the number of tickets you play with, our Customer Experience team can help. If you wish to reduce your number of subscriptions or change your subscriptions, simply call us on freephone number 0808 109 8765. Discussing changes in a telephone call allows us to obtain all the necessary information from you and we can confirm back to you that the required changes are in place and when your last draw date will be on any cancelled subscription.

It isn't possible to predict the likelihood of winning a prize in future draws as this depends on the number of postcodes and tickets entered into the draws, and this can vary.

If you don't receive this email within an hour of signing up, the first thing to do is to check the SPAM folder in your email. Sometimes emails from new contacts or businesses get filtered due to being mistakenly marked as SPAM.
