Under Jo Bucci's leadership, People's Postcode Lottery has raised more than £280 Million for charity, supporting over 4,000 good causes across Britain and internationally.

Jo joined the lottery in 2007, when it was based in Newcastle. Two years later, operations moved permanently to Edinburgh. From a small office in the north of the Scottish capital, a core team of 25 staff began to create a business with raising funds for charities firmly at the heart of its mission. Now, with a team of more than 300 in the city's Charlotte Square, its players contributed over £96 Million to charity in 2017 alone.

Following Jo's considered decision, she said, "I am incredibly proud of the positive impact People's Postcode Lottery has had on the many winners I have met and on the charities our players support.

"The values, passion and dedication of the team at People's Postcode Lottery make it unique, which has made this decision even more difficult to make. With the lottery continuing to grow and a solid team behind it, I feel this is right time to leave and will allow me to have more time with my family in Lincolnshire."

In her role as Country Director, Annemiek Hoogenboom will also assume Managing Director duties for the immediate future alongside support from Managing Director Lorna Menzies and Deputy Managing Director Clara Govier.

Annemiek said, "No one should underestimate what a contribution Jo has made. She has played such a pivotal role in our success during the past decade. She has built and nurtured a fantastic team and we are all lucky to have worked with her. We will all miss her dearly and we wish her success in the future."
