Uxbridge Strikes It Rich

A postcode sector in Uxbridge has been drawn as this month's Postcode Millions winner

Lucky Uxbridge players in UB8 2 are set to share a whopping £3 Million prize after their postcode sector was drawn as the first Postcode Millions winner of the year. The announcement was made in a Facebook Live video by People's Postcode Lottery Presenter Judie McCourt.

Residents will find out exactly how much they've won at a special party on Saturday 2nd February at Dogs Trust West London in Harefield. Players have awarded the charity over £9.5 Million in funding to date.

The full winning postcode will also be revealed on the day. The lucky winners who play with that postcode will take home the biggest share of the prize money.

Judie will be in Uxbridge to hand out cheques and reveal the full winning postcode. Judie said, "It feels amazing to be surprising people with incredible sums of money, especially straight after Christmas. We can get their 2019 off to a great start! Even better, we get to celebrate with the winners alongside one of our regularly supported charities."

Last month, more than 643 people in St. Helens shared the £3 Million prize at December's Postcode Millions. Two lucky winners walked away with a top prize of over £330,000 each just in time for Christmas.

With 32% of the ticket price going to charities, players have raised over £382 Million for over 5,500 good causes to date.
