Street Prize

Winner Jubilee In Knott End-on-Sea

22 October - FY6 0AR - Knott End-on-Sea - £25,000

Another postcode in Knott End-on-Sea has been drawn as a winner this year, earning one lucky resident a £25,000 prize. FY6 0AR was drawn as a Saturday Street Prize winner today.

New dad Robert Butler, who works for British Gas, plans to treat his wife Emma. "This is a cracking win. I've never won anything like this before. I've only been playing since the summer so this is sheer luck.

"My wife Emma shed a few tears when we were given the cheque. We had a baby boy seven months ago and I promised to get Emma an eternity ring so now I'll be able to buy her one.

"We'll also pay off some of the mortgage and I'll treat Emma to some new clothes."

Robert isn't the only lucky winner in the area. In June, four players from Knott End-on-Sea were delighted to find out they had each won £25,000 with their postcode FY6 0DX.

Street Prize Presenter Judie McCourt said, "It was great to be back in Knott End-on-Sea for the second time this year. What a lucky place and well done to Robert! Make sure you sign up to play People's Postcode Lottery and hopefully we'll be knocking on your door soon."

Players have raised more than £148 Million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

A project near Knott End-on-Sea that has received support from players is Home-Start Blackpool and Fylde, which was awarded £12,355 last year to support disadvantaged families.

Robert wasn't the only big winner this weekend - another Saturday Street Prize landed in Hastings in postcode TN34 3JU.
